Ms. Candice Chung

• Vocal Program - Senior Teacher

Soprano Candice Chung studied at the Manhattan School of Music and the Eastman School of Music. She has earned acclaim for her operatic and musical performances across Hong Kong, the United States, and Europe.

She has performed key roles such as Norina in "Don Pasquale", Fiordiligi in "Così Fan Tutte", and the Countess in "The Marriage of Figaro". In 2023, she earned critical acclaim as the Deer of Nine Colors in the world premiere of Tan Dun's "Requiem for Nature" in Holland Festival.

Her concert repertoire includes Dvorak's "Te Deum", Beethoven's "Mass in C", and Bach's "Magnificat in D". Recently, she performed in Chan Hing-yan's "Kungfood", an original chamber opera in Cantonese, as well as Gerta in Pierangelo Valtinoni's "The Snow Queen". Recently, she reprised her role as the Deer of Nine Colors in Tan Dun's "Buddha Passion" in Italy and Macau.

As a vocal teacher at Rainbow-Melody, Candice inspires young singers with her vast performance experience and passion for music.
